That one glint of shine does well to show that matted smooth surface of his skin. Also fun to see your character partaking in such a strange interaction GULP.

Seeing a little more of the boy in the dolphin. The background is simple yet effective, obviously aquatic scenes are your forte. Great sense of depth though use of colors. The way the sunlight falls on his tail is really striking!
