AUG 21 2018 - Garrosh Hellscream
Forgot the tattoos, but... as this was a 30min doodle so not really interested in correcting them.
So meh.
And no, I do *not* like Garrosh. I only liked his design and the very few positive aspects of his characterization; which I salvaged and used to design my OC Zaghur.

Well like him or hate him. The guy has a pretty awesome design, so I can't help but hope that you'll do a full body of him sometime :)
I really wanted him to have some sort of redemption and stayed in the game as a character. It just seems like such a waste to throw him out as a random villain :/

I mean, they hadn't decided in TBC; Metzen decided during either Wrath or Cata to make him a villian, while one of the other devs wanted him to undergo a story where he became an honorable warchief, which is why he had that odd character development shoving him in different directions in Cata. Sadly, Metzen's design ethos for him won out.
There was an interview stating that they had already plotted out Garrosh's overall legacy during the TBC era. He was originally planned to be more of a protagonist by his creator when his concepts were being designed, yes, but by the end of TBC they had already settled on his story. Plus, Blizzard was foreshadowing Garrosh's Face-Heel Turn as far back as late-TBC / early-Wrath in the WoW comic series that was being published at that time.
The characterization flip-flop in Cata was the result of miscommunication among the writers at the time; the writers of the Stonetalon questline didn't know about Garrosh's intended portrayal back then, so they erroneously made that scene where he appears to be learning from Saurfang's teachings. When you cut out that part from Garrosh's overall story, his overall character becomes more consistent with his earlier and later portrayals.
He was always intended to be villainous.
