Well this is the start of my Pokemon Week, and I figured the first picture I'd post would be the revisiting of an old lee I drew at the very start, Lurantis.

For those with less Pokemon knowledge, Lurantis is a Grass type. In this picture, she has apparently lied about being a Bug type in order to hang out with some Bug type friends. One of them must've saw through the lie, and decided to get everybody to punish their pink mantid friend.

This is one of the friendlier pictures I have planned for Pokemon Week. Lurantis is adorable and also fun to draw. The shades of pink that match Lurantis best aren't really available in colored pencil form, so some of the colors are compromised. Other than that, I like how this came out.

Also, I know that mantis eyes don't exactly work the way that they do in this pic, but it is how Lurantis's eyes work in the canon. So there. Hope you all like it!
