Sculpture commission for
SaiandtheFamilyScone complete! :D
This guy proved to be quite a challenge, haha. I had to cut off and remake all of his limbs and torso, cut open and reinforce the standing leg better, and attached, removed, and re-attached to the base because he had a severe lean. So his arms, legs, and torso were sculpted twice (standing leg was 3 times because I had to destroy it to get to the armature inside). But even with all that, I'm pretty glad with how things turned out, I've learned a lot from this one alone and the reworking looked better than the originals in my opinion. ^^
I'm switching from E6000 to 2-part epoxy from now on, that is some wicked stuff, lol.

Thanks! ^o^ From the base to tip, he's nearly 8 1/2 inches. The sculpture itself from foot to tip is almost 7 1/2 inches. No worries, when I started out, I didn't know much for sizing either, haha. For my smaller ones like pen holders, I generally go between 4-5 inches, and the large ones like this guy are around 7-8. But you can work with whatever size you feel is good for you. c: Glad to hear you wanna get into it, I love seeing more sculptors! Let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to help. ^^
