Today's featured character is Maeyl, the Cenebrian Grandmaster. Although he has always claimed to be Cenebrian, his appearance belies it, since his appearance is far more reminiscent to that of a dragon.

He's one of the antagonists in the Ephalon series, though he always remains in the background, hidden in the shadows.


If you'd like to know her full story, you'll have to read the entire Ephalon trilogy. The final part of it will be released late October this year!

Species: Cenebrian - hybrid
Tail: Varies, Maeyl has the ability to completely hide his tails. In this current image he possesses two, though he didn't always posses this amount.
Claws: His feet have massive claws, excellent for positioning himself.
Build: Muscular, often hidden beneath his armour.
Leg structure: Digitigrade legs
Special physical features: Flaming tail tips of differing colours.
Abilities: Shadow step ability. This allows Maeyl to travel into the shadow realm for a brief moment and come out in a different location. (appears as teleportation) This ability also allows him to summon forth weapons to aid him in combat.
