Here's another Photoshop 7 reworked sketch. I redrew the image to make it more apparent that the African Explorer, Miss Anita Fromby has somehow triggered a mysterious, stone age magic device which has transformational abilities.

Side Note: There was an issue of The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis comic book, published in 1964, that featured a story where perpetual beatnik, Maynard G. Krebs (portrayed in the TV series by Bob "Gilligan" Denver), gets turned into a giraffe (among several other animals). This story was later re-edited and included in an issue of The Way-Out World of Windy and Willie (basically, just the names of the characters were changed and the artwork altered only slightly to reflect the "hippie" styles of 1969).
