Hey, meet Octavia Sonnet! Octavia is Joannie's obnoxiously rich mom, and she's also an obnoxious personality in her own right. She's a socialite, snobby raccoon who lives out in the city of Mapleville. She used to be married, but her and her husband have ben divorced for years. Due to her crazy amounts of wealth she doesn't have a job of her own, and she's tried to get Joannie used to the high class lifestyle, but Joannie hates it. Because of this, Octavia and Joannie never saw eye to eye and Joannie would much rather spend time with her dad than with her, but Octavia is too proud to really admit her mistakes when raising Joannie and keeps thinking she's sending her daughter on the right path, and hates Joannie's desire of wanting to work on something that involves either physical strength or anything that could be even remotely... sweaty. So, despite Joannie's protests, Octavia sent her to study over at the Dot Academy of Law so she can get a high-class job as an attorney or a judge. Though Octavia doesn't keep a close eye on Joannie, so she has no idea what her daughter is actually doing at the Academy.

So, from that description, you might be able to tell Octavia isn't exactly Mother of the Year material. Octavia doesn't just look down on Joannie's interests though, she does this with everyone who isn't stupidly rich like her which, as you can imagine, would be most people. At least unlike the likes of Harmony, Octavia is a bit more- for lack of a better word- stupid, so it's easy to let things slip past her, hence why Joannie ignores her education and has a personal trainer. Still, hope you guys like (or not) the snooty rich raccoon mom!
