Yet another alien species of mine. Boys and girls meet Cez'kana and his son Otanowa. They tend to go by Cez and Otan respectively. Cez is a prominant scientist for the Resue government. He works on various genetic modifications to his species. His son has a flare for living things and and may be one of the few cropping up with mental abilities in the species. He's a fairly out going kid. As for the diapers well for those his age it's not uncommon.

The Resue are a reptilian race that inhabit a world in a binary star system. Their kind actually share an ancient ancestry to life on earth. Before the Permian extinction got into full swing on earth an alien race transplanted various specimens of life from earth to this world fearing that all life on earth would be wiped out. On this fairly stable world the Resue evolved and Reptilian life still holds the dominant status on this world with various avian species second and mammals in third. Culturally the Resue are more responsible then most. In their rise to a high technology they disregarded fossil fuels as a primary source of power due to their finite nature. They tend to think more rationally then mammals. They tend to look down on mammalian species as being rash and impulsive and dangerous. The species are also very good at the art of military action. Although they are not often the aggressors in conflict they have not lost a war with any sentient species in the galaxy. It has been rare int heir history that conflict would even reach to their homeworld. Religiously the Resue are not that deep. Those with faith only go as far to say they believe their is a sour and a deity that is generally good but beyond that make no solid claims. Overall many Resue believe this or in no deity whatsoever. As a species they look upon the devoutly religious in three ways. 1. Ignorant fools ignoring the world around them. 2. Humorous in the things that the masses will believe if a priest says it's true and 3. Dangerous in that said masses will do anything if they're told it's the will or their god or gods. They tend to be very uncomfortable around these types of people. It's not a good idea to try and convert one.

Biologically the Resue beyond being reptilian are fairly strong by most standards, their brains are fairly efficient much like avian ones although not to the same degree. Resue have vision that would put a human's to shame. They can see farther and in more of the light spectrum then us. Although the Resue don't tend to operate well in cold they can survive it. Their blood has a sort of anti freeze in it and they can go into a hibernation effectively like stasis for quite some time. In the heat however is where they thrive. It strengthens them and is fairly pleasurable. At high noon you'll often find many sunning themselves and relaxing if their schedule permits. The species also practices genetic modification which is strictly regulated. It is rare to find a Resue with a congenital genetic defect.

Combat Wise they are very adaptable. Often times they use power armor which maintains a steady high temp to keep them at optimal operation. It augments their already enhanced senses and strength. Weapons wise they tend to use energy based weapons but have no qualms in using kinetic weapons like a ballistic fire arm and are also good with melee weapons. All of which have their uses.
