Hey folks! Another really disjointed doodle dump, lots of concepting and some fun so as always right to left top to bottom for explanations.
Yes John is probably overcompensating.
So I'm slowly getting started on more detail in the daily lives of drekir that either live in human settlements or in Caste-Dragon Towns.
Most drekir living in human settlements often are DrekirErlen, Human explorers in the post pulse that, for some reason or another were drekified and still loyal to their still human friends and colonies. Or in the case of the more charitable human countries, DragonScape Drekir who appreciate the aid of said humans enough to aid them and officially join their society. Drekir in human colonies are most common in Colonies of the UK and India as they tend to be the nicest of folks on average to drekir.
Everything in Caste Society below the Prejager tend to look similar. Different kingdoms have different colored caste-dragons that help seperate groups of caste dragons and make it easier in the honor of battle. But for the drekir who were once Human (Which the Castes refer to as LygralDrekir, meaning "Small Drakes" Caste drekir are often referred to as LamyagaDrekir, meaning "True Drakes" But thats off topic
Point is every member of every caste below the Prejager Has a ear tag, or some other type of identification tag. This tag will often list off a personal number and it makes it easier for managing large numbers of Drekir, Ormer, and MaeVaeJur. Caste-dragons aren't too keen on individuality as the castes identify with their castes. As such they often don't provide things like any sort of clothing, jewlery, or other things that might help express individuality, there are exceptions in adverse weather where the cold or heat might pose a danger to drekir or in times of battle when armor and weaponry is provided for the Ormer and Drekir that serve as the backbone of a Caste-Dragon Fighting force. They don't suppress individuality for the sake of being cruel, to them, attachment to the group, to the caste and to the kingdom is above the individual.
Next up are some basic doodles of Los Caminadores de La Ciudad De La Niebla. The Walkers of the City of Fog, which was once Mexico city. I wanted to touch up and update how they might look dress, their equipment for journeying into the dangerous fog etc.
They have to dress almost like theyre comin out of a Chernobyl apocalyptic novel because of the fog. Breathing it in can kill or overload a drekir with magic so they wear fog masks which are basically gas masks. Often with meshes made up of burnt charcoal from magically charged plants to catch out the fog. these filters don't last forever and will need frequent replacement (about 3 times a day) but they work well enough for people to journey through the fog with nearly no issues.
Drekir backpacks tend to common everywhere because everyone needs to carry shit, They're usually flat retctangular things that open up from the side, often with shoulder straps, a belly strap and a tail strap to secure the thing to the back. Obviously Caminadores need to carry a lot of things, from filters to food and water, medical supplies and other important bits of stuff. Often many Caminadores will also mount a flag of some type to the bag to help their silhouette stick out. While this does make them more easily targeted by fog cultists in the city it also makes them easier to identify to avoid friendly fire, which is a common tragedy.
Any smart Caminador will bring a weapon to defend from the monsters and cultists that lurk in the fog city. They won't bring anything loud as that can bring the attention of anything around you that can easily kill you. Most weapons are bows, crossbows, some air rifles, and most commonly blades, axes, and short spears.
One last thing to mention about Caminadores is that they can't talk in the fog, both because their masks are kinda tight and inflexible AND that they don't want to make noise in the city unless its in an air pocket. So often they communicate via hand signals and sign language while in the fog.
Lastly just a fun character I thought up of
Charles of Quebec. A former Godomers Ascendent and Scrael who grew up in the French Speaking Canadian lands of Quebec pedaling REAL dragon guns, not those PUNY and weak toy guns that the humans make. those weak humans have nothing on the power of my expertly crafted and found firearms.
As a former member of Godomers Ascendent and also a Scrael in the early days of the DragonScape, he has developed a bit o fa superiority complex that drekir are better than humans. While he isn't inclined to radically kidnap humans and drekify them as some of his older companions still in Godomer's Ascendents, but he doesn't like em.
His weapons are a mix of his own creation and purchased from other gunsmiths. His weapons are pretty good! If you want a dragon made boomstick that can take down a MaeVaeJur and is as accurate as you need. then look no further!
Also in some other news I will start on the next written story soon. Also I haven't been doing the Tag in my keywords for "Kobold" I used to because the Drekir reminded me of kobolds but i think they have more in common with more feral variants of dragons at this point, what are your thoughts on that if you have any?
Shaggy out!

Well not really a "fan mod" but more like my weird thoughts about what the situation is like in that region.
I have this idea that some kind of civil war breaks out between the pro and anti-GoDomer drekir, mostly because 1) I think that's what would happen as I feel a lot of people would be swayed by the advantages of drakehood, and 2) I'm childish and I wanna see the Van Doos Regiment slapping "QUEBEC LIBRÉ!" graffiti in the caste-controlled ruins of Montréal.

You know that sounds about right
Everyone in the northeast that isn’t apt to being part of GoDomers cult tend to have to fight to keep there homes as frankly
GoDomers missionaries aren’t known for their peaceful ways
Día civil war is a pretty great way of looking at it, no doubt Quebec nationals (?) would also be fighting to liberate their lands from the cult. So good idea! I should get something like that in their sounds like a blast
