When I was looking up some information for the Puyallup Fair's Fine Arts entries for 2011, I stumbled upon the special category, which was "The Wonderful World of Birds". Suddenly it hit me like a ton of bricks. I had a gorgious sketch of an anthropomorphic owl in my work sketch book that I was planning on coloring anyway. What better time then now? Origionally I was planning on using this for a spin off of my Elementals, Darkness and Light, and in the original sketch the owl is holding a black void in his talons. However I changed it to the moon last minute, as the black void blended into the dark brown and black spots of the owl.
