Art and description from 2014
Okay, so this is actually next in line to be given the full digital color treatment, though give then complexity and size, I think I'll give myself 2-3 months on this one... and I haven't really started yet either. *sigh*
I really, REALLY wanted to do more with dragons. I just feel that for someone who likes dragons, I don't have enough finished dragons in my gallery. But at the same time, I wanted to do some more anthropomorphic art, especially since I just finished with Sundar. So I split the difference. Now, I know that an Oriental style dragon and a desert dwelling Fennec Fox are worlds apart... and to that I say... I really don't care! It's cute and it's awesome, so there!
In particular, I really wanted to show the flexibility and graceful nature of the Oriental Dragon, hence the complex tail. (And I thought the Storm Drake was going to be a pain to draw on the tablet!)
