Cause it looked like it was going for the top of her head unless, from what I'm seeing, it settles on your spine/back.

There aren't Hive Kings. Hive Queens reproduce asexually. A Hive Queen Symbiont can be Male, but he's still a hive queen, because he's the one pumping out all the baby symbiotes

From what I know, the succubat/tail is the only one that has a mind of its own. The pre-maturation crown crab just adds its voice to the host, while the mature crown crab just...fully becomes part of the host they're attached to.

The queen here seems to have overwritten the coloration of the crown crab (and possibly the succubat), but what happens if someone bonds with a crown crab and succubat from different communities that have different coloration?
