For this image, a mysterious form of light energy is bursting it's way out of Rodent, tearing the rat's skull open in the process. :D
The source of the light energy is unknown, though dem0npiratekitty has an idea for a new monster that uses this method to kill others, so I'm just going to go with the assumption that Rodent is this monster's first victim. :)
My thanks to dem0npiratekitty for taking this commission and doing such a wonderful job with it. I simply love how it came out. :D

And I can easily see the zombie connection, so there's no problem there. Just seeing a head splitting open like this, it's impossible to get the sense of it happening at this moment, as compared to simply being how he looks as some undead rat. :D

You know, it's really amazing to see that I'm no longer phased by this kind of violent artwork. :P (I guess I've been in the furry fandom for way too long!)

And I don't know if putting him back together again is such a good idea. Chances are you would have a zombie rat then. It might be best to simply find another rat and keep that one safe. Though of course, flying around with Swift would be hazardous to anyone's health. ;)

Fortunately, as a character with cartoon-like properties, I don't suffer nearly the amount of "wear and tear" your character often goes through! Heehee! ;)
