Updated character picture for my hubby's character Nekura Yami.

Nekura is a spirit kitsune and has always been someone into the deeply macabre. Original an apothecary in the village where Hikari grew up, he was Hikari first husband and mate though they have long since parted ways on that regard, they do remain in touch from time to time in an off again, on again relationship that is.. complicated. After Nekura left Japan he traveled the continents and learned the native shamanistic ways of many cultures, but the one that appealed to him most was practices of Vodou/Voodoo.

We like to joke that Nekura was the origin of Baron Samedi, so I drew him done up as him. Probably one of my favorite pencil sketches I have done.

The croc's name is Fluffy.
The snake is Fluffy Jr.
