One last photo up before the fireworks this afternoon!

So, this afternoon in Little Rock at the state capitol The Satanic Temple and any interested supporters will be standing against senator Rapert and his squad of evangelical zealots in opposition to their attempt at imposition of theocracy on the people. *snofts* If any of you are in the area, I'm looking forward to seeing you there. The fun looks like it'll be beginning around 1PM but I would highly recommend getting there early as parking at the capitol is what I would describe as somewhere in-between "awful" and "are you kidding me?!".
Hopefully we'll make a difference for the better and the good senator or, more likely, the state's legislators, will listen to reason and finally take action in support of the constitutional law we all benefit from.
It doesn't help that it looks like this afternoon's weather forecast will have us all in humidity equivalent to Dick Butkis's jockstrap after a Superbowl game.... Ugh...
Enjoy your afternoon you sweet pulsating pleasure-pistons. If you're not at the protest, stay inside if you can. It's gross out there. Seriously, I'm pretty sure you could stuff some veggies, rice and chicken cubes in your goodie-wraps and make soup. Bleaucghck... *head tilts* Hey, if any of you try that, let me know how it turns out, will you? *titters* Love yourselves. Then love somebody else, too.

My friends Sahreth and Ariel should be there,Sahreth is Satanist and they're married and live in Hot Springs,so it should be fairly easy for them to get there. Y'all stay safe,and be careful in the heat Ashley,love! Don't get heatstroke like the one time at Turpentine Creek. ^^

Dratis thought to bring sunscreen, but like a big dummy, I didn't put any on ^^; I actually enjoyed the sting of the sunburn on my arms, but I know sunburns can be very dangerous. And the one on my face was just gross looking when my dead skin started flaking off..

It'd be really cool if this works out, it's about time someone besides the christians got some recognition as being valid. 'Sides, seeing the ultra-conservatives shitting themselves about their own personal boogieman would be *awesome*.

You know, I wonder if they put those concrete columns there specifically to keep someone from running over the damn thing with their car at high speed, like that crazy guy here in OKC did to the one at our Capitol (they quickly replaced it of course, gotta love how the religious right wastes their money).
