Yea, i have been spinning for a couple years.

I made the mistake of introducing him to it back when he was like 12, and well, letting him do it at my place with full on fire, and now hes gone and graduated to like whacky multi kevlar balled stuff, weird fire work stuff, colored fire using dif. metal cages, all ki8nds of wtf stuff loldig the pix i took of the firework fountains lol fun times : )

Heh, yea, i can make my own wicks and stuff if i have the correct material.

lol yeah his first was a set i made em outta two tennis balls with tiki torch wicks though them and large metal washers to protect the ball, on plumbers link chain the balls were filled with a turkey baster by a slit in the tops of them with citronella tiki torch fuel lol. They worked well though, and as long as you didnt centrifugally pull all the fuel out theyd burn for like 20 mins.

well back then there was no home of poi site, there was no place to really buy it, so we had to improv and tiki oil dosnt burn on its own, it needs to saturate and even then its not bad, you can brush it right out if it catches. Now hes got a bunch of monkey fist Kevlar ones, some solid kevlar and some wooden center, still awesome to watch

I make my own poi, its pretty cheap, i might start up a little shop here. :3 Sell cheaper than HoP

yeah, thats why he makes his too, kevlar rope is a bitch to get though, he gets his from some marine surplus store near his place, cheap cuse its cut to lengths no one but him can use lol

Meh, i can get the kevlar online for cheap. I prefer Cath's but all i have are monkey fists to use.
