Yet another scenery pic! Been working too much during the nights lately, and I guess it shows... =) This is still a work in progress, might add some character to it some day/month/year, and tweak the background a little bit more too.

This has a nice winter atmosphere, just like out in the Hungarian Bukk mountains in night. I was out late several times in forests, in summer even slept in open air (no tent): this picture called back those good old memories. I wonder why you stopped drawing, if you can do it this good you should definitely continue! :3 I like that Moon and clouds, and how the grass in the front is done, this latter is probably what I like the most.
Hmm, it's been three years since I got this done... yeah, I agree, I should get around this "little" art block of mine. Though I've been slowly gathering art supplies, so I guess the itch is still there.
I get to drive around the countryside during the odd hours of night, and every now and then I get a glimpse of something like this. Too bad I always forget to bring a camera along...
Thanks for the fav, and the poke, it's been ages since the last time there was anything happening on this account.

Getting over that "little" art block is something what I should do too - I didn't draw anything decent on paper since long years... You can never lose the skill, so don't worry: maybe the first or the second piece of paper will end in the bin, but then it will catch on - i know ;)
Photographing in the night... Well, that's not a simple straightforward thing, that alone would worth a while of fun! :3 (I know this as well: Photographed caves with analog camera without flash!) And don't just drive, the forest won't eat you (At least here, sadly we don't even have wolves, just a few in the northern region), get off, walk, and feel the night! That absolute silence and the moonshine can be an awesome sensation! First, if used to living in a city you wouldn't even believe that such a silence can exist. Then your ears gradually get used to it, you start hearing little noises, like a vole a few metres away digging for food, farther away some warthog grunting while taking a leap in the mud around a spring, and one time hearing something I turned around in fright to look right in the eyes of an equally stunned weasel on the cliff next to me!
Winter is a little different. It is more silent. In summer, forest is full of life, but in winter most are away or sleeping. Sometimes it is like walking in a frozen dead world, especially when you see the streams, and everything in ice. Strange thoughts can fly through one's mind spending a day walking in such a frozen land, twenty degrees below zero, strange, like the sights in our limestone mountains, the Bukk.
Sorry, hope I opened a bit of curiousity for such adventures. I could tell tales of these for a long, these moments out are just... Life :)
