Does this belong classified as 'pop'? If you think it falls better under a different listing let me know!
A city fox walks downtown, on his way to close a big business deal. The different flavors of each block mingle together in a blurry noise of energy and ambition. What's that he smells? Mmm... pretzels...
Alot of potential employers ask for it, yet I don't have alot of 'pop' style music in my portfolio, I thought I'd come up with a piece that explored a few different textures, I was thinking alot of music that sounded like it should be in a cell phone commercial, although there's some other stuff in there too. So much pop music is all about one very well crafted sound, one idea, since it's usually only 3 minutes long, there's no time to develop an idea and give a whole much of any shape to the song! So I thought I'd make it longer and tell a bit of a story, a sort of classical take on 'urban' music.
