Named for her unusual blue eyes, Hya was always treated as the literal laughing stocking of her gangster family for being the only girl. Desperate to prove herself, she leaped at the chance when the gang was assigned to take down a certain big bottomed buck. She found Bucky in the park, minding his own business sniffing flowers and attempted to assassinate him with a missile-launching bazooka aimed directly at his bottom. Fortunately, the clueless deer happened to hear the ice cream truck pass by and barely missed being blown up into a million pieces. After many fruitless attempts, the exacerbated Hya finally used up all her patience and leapt out of the bushes as Bucky was passing by licking his ice cream cone and sent to the both of them tumbling down the hillside. Once finished, the disheveled Bucky notice the young hyena perched on top of his stomach and friendlily said hi. He then complemented her hair and said it reminded him of Neapolitan ice cream.

From the point on, the two started dating, and while Hya used the excuse that it was merely an act to get close enough to kill the ignorant deer, she found herself slowly but surely falling for his goofy charm and the fact that he made her feel valued and special for the first time in her life. After her family expressed their anger at her inability and incompetency to get one simple hit-job done, Hya finally had enough and left them for good, devoting herself to a life with Bucky, whether for the better or worse.

While technically, Hya is supposed to be “the one”, “Bucky’s happily ever after”, and “his true love/soulmate”; I am not against doing alternate storylines where he instead stayed with one of his previous girlfriends or finding someone new to become romantically involved with.
