Confesion time, I never grew with those guys. I'm more of a Nintendo guy. But I got N. Sane Trilogy on (my brother-in-law's) PS4, Switch and PC. Also, I'm planning in getting Spyro too.

I can think of a few possibilities, some not as explicit as that first part may have implied. Crash's personality has always been a bit out there and troublesome, whereas at least in Enter the Dragonfly Spyro isn't so troublesome, quite loyal to dragonkind. Of course, a more explicit assumption might be fair.
Though as far as I can tell, using D&D alignment Crash is CN (Chaotic Neutral) and Spyro is NG (Neutral Good). So I think some anxiety would be warranted on that alone.
