Let me start by saying I usually don't do fanfiction. In general, it doesn't interest me. I've certainly made characters -inspired- by things I like, but I try to put my own twist on them all. So when  anyonarex asked me to write a story starring the Pet Avengers, I was hesitant. But his enthusiasm and idea for a good plotline won me over. So you know what? Here's my first piece of fanfiction, commissioned by Anyonarex! And it was darn fun to write.

Marvel has a lot of superheroes. I wasn't even surprised to find out that they had a team of super-powered animals. ...I was slightly surprised to learn that they beat Thanos in the past though. Regardless, it's a good mix of super powered critters who work together for the common good. ...Let's see what happens when those powers are taken away. When faced with the rules of the jungle, will our animal heroes stay true to their principles, or will the natural order rewrite the rules?
