Finally got a proper ref done for my Kangaroo adopt. Here he is in all of his round, thick glory~
Character info follows below:
Height: 7ft
Kugo isn't like any normal Kangaroo. Having a weird fascination with the soft and round, he too wanted to become soft and round himself. His journey bought him to a enchanted area in a woodland that granted him what he desired. At a price~
The Kangaroo gained the rounded appearance he so desired, and with it a new hunger filled him. The hunger for other creatures. Unlike most who are given such a burden, he took it with notable stride, happily hunting down and gobbling up other furs, to fill his big, round belly.
He has a few tricks up his sleeve (down his pouch?) too~ His tail is somewhat prehensile, allowing it to coil up and capture someone nearby. Failing that, his thick rump also acts as a good pinning tool, ensuring no one moves under his soft expanse. And his third trick is his most powerful. His pouch has a bio-luminescent quality to it, letting out a glow that hypnotises anyone that looks at it, drawing them towards the belly pocket and causing them to climb in. It's only once they're in that the prey realises how much trouble they're in. Luckily, a thick pouch flap and a very musty/musky interior help to quell that down, ensuring the prey is pacified well enough. As a last resort, he can also perform pouch-vore too, sending prey straight from pouch to belly~
Kugo has something of a connection to my other character, Edgar the Otter, in that they share a similar method of 'prey processing'. Unlike Edgar, though, Kugo has refined and improved upon the technique to a point where he can control all of it at will. Tail rings can display at request, belly tats can be displayed if he feels like it, whatever Edgar can do, Kugo can do better. Again, this also comes at a price. Prey absorbed by Kugo are never 'permanently' absorbed per-say. Kugo can, if he chooses, bring them back to get eaten again. Albeit, those who are bought back end up very loyal to the roo. And for those prey he's done with, he can just leave them as his pudge, which ends up just as 'permanent' as one expects. Kugo forgets you, you're not coming back from the fat.
As for personality, though, he does tend to be kind and somewhat courteous to whoever he meets, especially to his prey. Mainly so he can give them the illusion that the prey may have a chance of ending up not as roo food. He finds it fun to toy with them like that~ :3
