Awwwz, well thank you so much for the kind comment and fave! ^^ For me, this was perhaps one of my favorite pixel arts done in all the time I've been creating them in Minecraft. :> I might consider doing more of the comic covers in the future as they're quite fun to play around with color-wise. And IZ has been a favorite show of mine for as long as it's been around (though the fandom has left me with some PTSD from years of interaction in it. :'D) Regardless though, I'd love to do some more IZ-themed Minecraft works in the future. ^^

I have indeed seen the movie and was quite pleased with how they executed it, all things considered. :> I loved the fact that Membrane got something of a bigger role in it and adored the cute father/son moments between him and Dib. That alone made the entire movie worth it to me as I have something of a soft spot for secondary characters. (I've spent countless years writing fanfiction in that fandom, so anytime Membrane or Gaz or Skoodge or any other secondary character gets extra attention in the series, I can't help but be thrilled by the potential for developing them further in my writing) Hahaha. XD In any case though, I will eventually work on more pixel arts for the series. I'm taking something of a break from uploading too many fandom-related works though. The show itself is wonderful but the fandom can be so taxing at times. <XD It's good to step away from time to time. I definitely appreciate the watch though, so thank you for tuning in. I really appreciate it. :>

Hahaha. XD I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who found those moments between Dib and Membrane to be so endearing. Shortly after the movie first aired, I saw some people online kind of criticizing those interactions and going on to rant about what a horrible character they thought Dib to be, which is something I really can't stand in the fandom as he's a favorite character of mine. ;v; I relate to him a lot and so have the softest of soft spots for him in general (even before the movie aired on Netflix).
Taking breaks from that fandom is definitely a necessity in my book though. Sadly enough, it actually has the opposite effect on me. The show itself will always hold a very special place in my heart, but interactions in the fandom definitely spiked my anxiety levels to a whole new degree. I can't even look at most fanart for the show nowadays without having an anxiety attack. But to be fair, I've never been well-liked in the fandom to begin with, so I guess there's not much that can be done about that at this point. XD I still get random hate from other users online every now and again, even when I'm just hiding in my own dark little corner of the internet with close friends only. :'D I can only interact in small doses now, usually in the form of an update to some of my stories before I disappear back into the shadows. Hahaha. XD I used to draw fanart and such for the fandom long ago also but haven't been able to pick up a pencil in years now. I do have one very close friend I still roleplay with though and reading through our RPs does help with my anxiety a bit. In a way, the fandom is like a double edged sword for me. :'>
In any case though, I hope you'll be able to enjoy what I post in the future. I actually do have a few other IZ-themed pixel arts posted in my gallery here already, but I'll be sure to work on more in the future. I know, right?! Some people act like Dib is a huge jerk in the series for the way he treats Zim in it (because clearly the alien that came to Dib's planet to invade it is just a victim. Pfft! XD), but in all honesty, I can't see it at all. Yes, Dib makes many attempts to expose Zim, but I feel like he's primarily just looking for some sort of recognition from his own people. He's labeled as "the crazy kid" in the series, and if you really think about it, he's a ridiculously lonely character. In any other cartoon where one of the main characters is portrayed as an outcast among their peers, they usually at least have one or two close friends to speak of. Dib doesn't though. And while I love Gaz and Membrane as well, they don't exactly always support Dib in his efforts, which only adds onto that sense of loneliness. So of course Dib may act out in ways when attempting to expose Zim. But in a way, I feel the rivalry between Zim and Dib is almost like that of two friends playing pranks on each other, just taken to new extremes (like the way Zim flooded the entire town with a water balloon just to get back at Dib for throwing water balloons at him). It's sad when the closest person you have to being an actual friend is also your mortal enemy. So I don't take much of what Dib does to Zim as legitimate "bullying," like some fans think it to be. Zim does just as much to Dib, and he's an ignorantly lonely character too. As for Membrane, I don't think he doesn't love his kids. He's just one of those workaholic parents in the series, but you still see moments of genuine affection between him, Dib, and Gaz in the series. (Hahaha, sorry for going off on a tangent there. I tend of over analyze these characters at times due to my passion for writing fanfiction about them.)

As for my experiences with the fandom, let's just say I probably spent far too long in it to NOT garner hate from the masses. XD I was far more deeply involved in the fandom MANY years ago. Hell, I've got one story I've been writing for that fandom that's already over 10 years old (and I'm still writing it to this day). I'm primarily a shipper though and some ships in the fandom are especially hated on. If I'm not being targeted in some way, then my work is. Somebody wrote a Wiki article naming one of my fics as one of the "the worst, most cringe worthy" fanfics in the fandom. Lol. Not that I don't agree with that statement (my older works need LOTS of revisions still, to say the very least), but it's never ceased to amaze me how hostile some people can become about works you post online for fun. I even had one girl make, not one, but TWO full fledged hate accounts about me on DA once. She took pictures from my profile and drew devil horns on me and everything, all because I wouldn't promote a story of hers that she was writing. She was self advertising her work in the comments section of my own works and I asked her not to do that. I offered her advice about how to get her work seen by more people, but apparently my refusal to actually promote her work was enough to warrant those hate accounts (in which she spread a lot of false rumors about me). And that's only the tip of the iceberg in terms of hate I've received from users in the fandom. I could probably write an entire book at this point about my experiences, but I won't bore you with all the details about that. XD To be fair though, I've had some truly great experiences in that time also. I've met some of the closest friends I have through that fandom and had some great adventures at some of the past Invadercons I attended. But still, I guess I rub some people the wrong way. Also, I won't deny that some of my work is a little OOC, and sometimes that's worthy of hate from some people. As I said though, I envision the characters very differently from how a majority of the fandom seems to see them (like I mentioned up above about Dib's character). Lol. But anyways, I'm probably going off on another tangent by now. Sorry about that. I have a bad habit of talking people's ears off to the extreme. All in all, I'm still at least writing stories for the fandom. Just trying to keep under the radar though to avoid any further drama in it at this point. For better context, I've literally been active in the fandom since 2006. A lot can happen in 14 years with a single fandom. XD

Dib has a reason, and so does Zim, but to be fair Dib was mean towards him at first from the first episode, but over the time they ended up being mean towards either way, so that part doesn't really matter anymore? They have a friend/enemy ship thing going on. XD Ooh yes I think so too on Dib's side, poor dude no body understands him. :c Heck he even talks to himself cause he is so lonely, Zim has Gir but Dib doesn't really have a friend to talk to. Omg yes, I have thought of it. Poor dude. Ikr?! Same! Omg same, I agree on that. XD Omg I love that episode, I was watching that again last night to sleep lol. Right?! It is sad, but actually kinda fun?

I mean Zim and Dib never really had a friend, Zim was mostly alone before he had Gir. I think he does, he just been too busy. I am sure he would spend time with them more, if he could. Lol same! XD On the writing part, I've written mine since I was 17, only it been 8 years. I planning to turn it into a comic instead, once I finish the writing. XD Oh boy. o-o Wow, talk about hatred there. That is hostile honestly, like they don't need to do that. Like I don't see Dib and Zim being lovers or anything, I just see them being friends and all, I feel bad for them being shipped cause how toxic it is. ;3; Especially ships with Zim, oh boy. I ship myself with Zim though, but I don't treat him like that like other girls. He changed my life and he makes me happy and safe, even as a character he is amazing. I don't see him dumb as others see him, I see a genuis but people will tell me crazy and that he is an idiot, I am like... did you not see the movie and how well he tricked Dib?! Even in the show with the dream state, where Dib " saves " the world from Irkens and captures Zim.

That was genuis! I don't even see him infected either, I just see him a fun innocent character that loves to destroy and gets too excited with the weapons and all, and trying too hard to get love from the tallest. I think it is also to make up for the wrong he did too. XD But to be fair, he didn't really killed the other tallest, it was his pet that did that. He couldn't control the thing and its mind for glob sakes.

It's not everybody's cup of tea so I can see why some people prefer their relationship to remain more in the friend zone, if anything. I'll admit though, I don't ship outside of cannon characters either. ^^;

Yeah, pretty much. ^^ I've personally never been much a fan of fan characters in the show, or to be more precise, with shipping fan characters with canon characters. But that's just a personal preference. Sometimes I'll use a fan character in a story to help move along a plot line, but I keep my shipping strictly between the characters in the show. XD
