When Vicky Wyman first joined FA we started exchanging a bunch of friendly comments and faved each other's pics....i loved Xanadu and her other projects (have a couple original pages i bought at some long ago con back while it was in early chapters, the only time i met her in person)...Anyway, did some fan art a decade or more later...and it was years later that we met again here on FA. i posted a very rough sketch of this that she liked :

At some point i mentioned to her that i hadn't gone further than the sketch because i realized that i was supposed to be an actual painting, not a digitally coloured inking. From time to time, some years ago, i would work on figuring out the colour scheme...But then life and injuries etc got in the way ....

So this is very rough...and furthermore i have realized that this is not even the complete picture! The composition will be larger - with some of the Ever-changing Palace in the background...Maybe Felicia and Tab in the background....?

Sad i didn't post this while she was with us, but it was even rougher than this - did a bit of work on it the last few days...it wasn't at a stage anyone would want to see...

i thought she would be with us a long time more...........
