Honestly I wasn't expecting it to end like it did. Thea gave to impression of someone only seeking revenge for their personal satisfaction, not to actually teach a moral lesson. It really felt like a heel turn on her part.

The truth is probably somewhere in the middle, she was trying to justify her petty revenge and really didn't think through what the actually consequences could be. Thea was the bad guy in the first story, hands down, even if she won't admit it.

I have to admit though, it doesn't really feel like he got free from her. She went far beyond what was needed to hurt Ben, qnd it really looked like she was just goint to make him like that forever. But at the end ut seems like Ben goes right back to being the flanderized bimbo Thea was making from him because he "liked and chose it", when such a thing was from her controlling and forcing his behavior. Its a bit sad because the "Bonbon" at the end he wants to be is the result of his choices being undermined so he is never really free. If it was just being quadraped and female it would be different, but it seems like at the end he chooses to be Thea's bimbo when he eas forced to like it to hurt him, thusly making that hurt permenant. That's the one flaw in the story, the ending feels like it could go into more detail to say "Hey, the protagonist isn't just having a heel turn of their own and submitting to mind/body control meant to hurt them when they could be free to choose."

That's kind-of complicated as it's a lot of the themes of the stories. Basically Thea turned the vixen'taur into a vixen'taur as an act of revenge.
