*Eeeps in surprise and delight.*
This adorable picture was a wonderful gift from
Greyfox. You can see more of his artwork on his page here on FA, as well as over on Eka's Portal, where he has his submission of this picture: http://aryion.com/g3/showitem.php?id=177138
Here we have Rodent going for a nice snorkeling, only to find himself a bit too close to a hungry anemone. At least he won't have to worry about sharks. :)
My thanks to Greyfox for this wonderful, surprise gift. I love the way the anemone has Rodent wrapped up and is pulling him in, as well as the way Rodent is struggling to get free. He really did a delightful job at capturing that underwater look and feel. :D

I do admit to greatly liking the concept of being so small and vulnerable that even small non-sentient predators and other minor hazards, utterly insignificant or inferior to a normal person, are still all-powerful compared to you. I think a lot about it myself. :)
Considering that rats are much larger than mice, and I'm smaller than a mouse...

It might happen. ;D

It is more effective than almost anything else at driving home just how utterly insignificant, inferior, and vulnerable a micro is, especially when you have an active imagination and good sense of spatial proportion like me... it's easy to actually picture myself seeing the world and its dangers from that perspective. <3
*grins and nods* While I don't see myself as a micro, I do like seeing my preds as larger and more dominating.
This is why when at conventions, I like to try to get a "rat's-eye view of fursuiters, as seen in the following pics:

It's never easy to get such pics, put when they come out well, they really gives a nice micro's view of the world. Heh.

Mmm... Don't worry Rodent, you'll soon be a part of those tentacles yourself. *Grins and pats his wriggling, writhing navel until he feels the movement within stop, likely from suffocation... Though it would've been a comfortable death in the middle of all that cozy lint.*
