Well those 2 are idiots. Nowhere did it say the Hero was doing anything to the God of Destruction and it's just now been revealed his actual age when previously he was thought to be way more than a 1000 years old so they have no room to talk given what anyone actually knew about him at the time.
but its also implied that hes been awake before, but was sealed away for the purpose of resetting the world, as shown in the flash back, unless that scene is now retcond, if not, then he should be older than a good few days, even if they had been created with that body at that stage, they would been a developed mind to even understand their own duty, atleast, that is how I understand it
