It is a most ominous tome indeed. Especially when you consider how, if not for it, Avis would've never been tainted with the ability to drain the power of Nishidor.
The big question now is whether-or-not he is too late to make good on that second life the Dingus Duck granted him. That and if he can do so without bringing too many of those he cares about into a situation solely brought on by himself. :)

Indeed. Actually, you are picking up on a lot of fun, subtle points that I didn't really expect anyone to be picking up on quite yet. Most impressive. :)
The next section will reveal a bit more as to the direction the dark tome will be going. From there, adventure and plot will abound as the story further develops with additional characters springing seemingly out of the wood-work. Oopa!

Well, currently, there are two green avians making up the story. The one with the white shirt and blue vest is the NARRATOR, who is played by yours truly, and the other is the lovable KING AVIS BRIGHTWING.
<LoL!> As for colors, Avis should look pretty good in this tale compared to how he looked in the original. This is because, thanks to

Sorta-kinda. Though, for readers of the original and Nishi's comic, there will be a bit of a cameo for Yosh the Bard in a later segment. Though, aside from that, I will be happily narrating a delightful tale that, in some cases, gives characters who once seemed minor a more major role while adding in some new faces to make the experience even more fun and exciting! Oopa!
