Went to the craft store yesterday to get felt for my plushie commission, and I happened to pass the bead aisle. They had freshwater pearls AND garnet beads, two of my favorite stones so I basically bought a couple strands of garnet and freshwater pearls and went nuts. The entire set I made consists of a ring, a necklace, bracelet, and unfinished earrings with gold tone wire.
If enough people like this, I may be convinced to make more jewelry like this for sale.
