The first thing that I've ever drawn...
I was visiting foxer421 over a weekend, and he finally convinced me to open my sketchbook for the first time ever. (I purchased it at least 5 months beforehand). After guiding me through basic shapes and getting the feel down, he verbally walked me through this one... and when it came together... I was excited ad bouncy! I DREW THAT!!! So, I wanted to share that with all of you.. this is my official first art piece, and I never would have believed that I was even close to capable of creating something like this. *smiles broadly at everyone, obviously excited*

lol, There really is no guessing ;) Foxer verbally guided me through the drawing, so I can't really say that I did it completely on my own, but, *wow*, thank you for the compliment. Due to finals, I haven't been able to draw much in the month since, but over winter break, I hope to have something to show for it. =^-^=
Haha, well even if he only verbally guided you, he did give you his own unique brand of shape-building.
But I think another element comes into play, too. One I learned from college... I find that drawing in the presence of another artist, there is some unstoppable osmosis that occurs. I can't really explain it, and I sure don't intend it, but it probably has a lot to do with the impressionability of the creative mind. ACTUALLY, I could probably explain that as a result of intellectual predisposition caused by genetics, traced back to by natural selection... But I'll just stop here before I break into an essay, k? :D
