HEAD

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The head fits perfectly, the face was the only foam portion and the back was like a hood, so it could fit someone with glasses or a lot of hair.
The inside was fully lined, but the material used to line the head was similar to a fleece blanket. It gets really hot really quick but there is never any sweat stuck on my face, the fleece soaks it up.

This suit is really easy to wash. The maker told me to simply spot clean the suit. I took a risk and watched a tutorial on how to wash the head in the bathtub and I was able to fully submerge the head and disinfect no problem. I am able to put the suit in the dryer WITH NO HEAT on spin. and it doesnt morph or mis-shape the head in any way.

The ventilation in the suit is fantastic. The muzzle is really short and my mouth/nose is about 5 inches away from the opening. the muzzle is mostly hollowed out and the nose holes connect to the mouth. Taking out the tongue makes breathing a little easier than it already is.

The vision in the suit is alright at best. I do have to turn to look at people and the best thing to compare it to is looking through toilet paper rolls. I can see a little bit of the floor through the mouth but not much. with the eyelids on vision is about the same, I just cant see the sky like I normaly could.

the horns are cute and can withstand almost anything (i've done summersaults in this suit and they are still sewn on with no rips) the overall durability is crazy on this head and not a single seam has popped.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The maker of this suit did a really nice job making my character look just like my Ref sheet. I didnt ask for eyebrows but the maker took the liberty in adding removable ones for added expression (my dragon has a default tired half-eye face)
some things were off but you have to get close to notice.

The symmetry is passable. If you stare at the suit for too long you can start to see where its a little lumpy. the left side of the suit (my left) is a little lumpy above the eye. the white part is a little lower than the right side is. and the white only comes down on one side of the eyes, however, the orange circles and four white dots were perfectly symmetrical.

The shaving for the suit is pretty good. theres only two small flaws that you have to get really close to to notice. The first is on the left cheek right next to the mouth you can see a little bit of backing. I just noticed this about a week ago so it could be from continued wear.
The second flaw is right above the eyes. the maker glued velcro to keep the eyelids on which I later opted to take them off and replace with velcro around the blacks of the eyes. before taking them off, right under the velcro I could see another small patch of backing, Again, I had to be really close to see it. The transition from face to neck was almost seamless, its hard to tell where they started/stopped shaving. especialy near the base of the ears, Other than the mistakes above, the shaving is beautiful.

The fur feels like standard faux fur that you would buy for any fursuit, really. Its really easy to brush and doesnt shed at all after many hours of wear.

I get alot of compliments on this head because people say my fursona looks constantly surprised. the mouth doesnt have much expression but the eyelids work very well in changing the characters expression.

HANDS AND FEET

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
The hands fit perfectly. I did not give a size for these hands but they fit great. the insides are fully lined with fleece and there are no holed in them. They go a little bit higher than my wrist and wont show any skin if I stretch too much, the only thing that would show is the cuff of the handpaw. putting the second one on is a little hard without assistance because they fit like a second skin for my hand and I have no way of sliding it up. they are very comfortable to wear, they arent too puffy or too flat and I can pick up stuff with ease.
In my time of wearing the paws, not a single seam has popped.
I can just throw them into the wash and let them air dry and they're fine.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
Nothing on the paws is noticably lopsided. My fursona has random spots on the back of his paws and they are all sewn on and they look fantastic.all of the paw pads are even and theyre sewn so you cant see the edges of the paw pads. the shaving on the paws is great, the transition between hands and wrists is seamless no fur backing shows.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
The tail is really comfortable to wear. it sticks up and outwards and droops after extended wear, its made with foam and is super lightweight. only one seam has popped in my time wearing it and it was one of the feathers at the end of the tail. none of the spikes have fallen off and the straps have not ripped either. I have had people pull on my tail and it is perfectly fine. the tail wags and does its job.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
The tail has 4 spikes on it and all of them are even and sewn in so the edges cant be seen. the fur is really nice and matches the paws and head fur. everything on the tail is great. the end of the tail, if taken off looks like the tail was chopped off, like the tail has red fleece for blood and white fleece for bone. the tail matches perfectly, I wanted it a certain length and the maker was able to get it perfectly, curve and all.

How well does everything fit together and match up?
All of the pieces look like they belong to the same fursuit. everything matches up perfectly and fits perfectly. the costume looked different from the other makers suits but its a good thing. The maker had only 5 other suits from what I saw but i'm still happy with how everything turned out.


How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
I contacted the maker through instagram under the #fursuitcommission tag. Payment was sent within 2 hours of explaining my commission and we picked fur colors together.


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
The maker usualy took between 2 hours and 1 day between messaged. we only communicated through instagram.


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
The maker was very kind and asked me tons of questions to make sure they got everything the way I liked. very proffessional like a business and sent many updates and pictures. It was only hard to get a hold of them once and that was once school started so it was understandable.


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
I was the only person in the queue and I was so surpised with how fast my suit was completed. My maker works a full time job and goes to school and was still able to finish ym suit within a reasonable time. (2 1/2 months) I did not have a date by when I needed the suit but the maker still gave me a time frame of when my suit would be done. I got a trracking number and my suit arrived within 3 days after shipping. the maker shipped using USPS.

Describe your overall experience with this maker.
I asked for handpaws initialy but the maker must not have seen the message so I only got charged for a head + tail. The maker then later saw I asked for handpaws and decided to make them for free and not charge extra since they did not see the message.

Working with them was a really pleasing experience and the maker was so responsive and easy to work with.
I would recommend them for suit parts or heads as their work ethic is fantastic. I am able to see over the minor flaws as its nothing that anyone but me has noticed.
