Even if his lifeguard work at the Cypress Beach started again since some weeks already, Jake was forced to take some breaks during the day. The
heat waves were becoming more and more dangerous even for people on the beach who were often warmed about the dangers of the sun. Jake had
installed on the beach many permanent sunshade and umbrellas that could protect all day long people who wanted to stay on the sand. Protect was
after all his mission. A mission he took seriously. But this sweet sand dragon also had to protect himself form this unusual hot sun. That's why the
team of beach rescuers had to relay more often. To allow their colleagues to have more regular poses to refreeze and relax. During his own breaks
Jake was enjoying a fresh moment in the shower or enjoying some silly moments in the sand making castles...but he still oversee people... in case
Here's an other silly picture about Jake, my sand dragon OC who's taking a little break. For this drawing I tried something that I previously did with
Paul.I wanted to show what kind of activities he was doing during summer and more precisely when he doesn't work. This picture, as the previous
ones with Jake, I wanted to draw something related to the life of this gentle sand dragon, something random that everyone could be enjoy! This
drawing is also uploaded right in time when I'm also personally affected by this far too hot summer in my own country. I suppose heat record is
about to be broken very soon. So drawing Jake taking a fresh shower is definitely making him pretty lucky compared to me who's sweating all
the day xD This picture was made with some help of my Patreon's patrons, thanks a lot for all your support! I deeply hope you'll enjoy this

While I do enjoy hot summers, I have to admit that this summer is very unusual and way too hot. Although, this is a beautiful piece of artwork and I like how cool the piece feels. I can almost imagine getting an ice cream with him or something while he beams his warm smile!

Since this kind of pictures, as I did previously with Paul, are some sort of test to improve body proportions, anatomy and try new poses, it also helps me to apply basic shading to work better on muscles volumes. Ahah if you planed to lick some ice-creams with Jake, be fast because it'll melt fast!

Yay for another drawing of Jake, the cutest and loveliest beach dragon! :D I like the idea for this drawing, inspiring yourself with the heat wave that Europe is suffering, so many of us can relate to this drawing.
Poor Jake, even a sand dragon like him can't take all that heat. Beautiful drawing of him taking a nice shower, he looks so happy and calm, and omg so much yes to the way the water is dripping from his body. ovo
I love how adorable you drew him making sandcastles in the sand, it's just so damn cute, specialy with that cheerful face and the thumbs up. Doing this kind of stuff really fits him.

I wanted to draw sill things about Jake. I already drew some previous pictures of Paul in showers but never with Jake, also since he's a sand dragon I wanted to draw something related to his dragon specie. So I thought that sand castle could be funny ^^ I planned to draw an other picture of Jake making badass sandcastles since sand is his element.
This pic allows to know a bit more about him too! And I'm always happy to develop the background of my characters :)
