From the day he was born folks could tell there was something a bit off about mortalis Meyerder. Maybe it was the way he looked or maybe it was the way he acted but something never quite fit around him. ever. They say that the day he dissapeared the world began to change one person after the next. And they would never forget the journey or Mortalis..and the quest to find himself.

Having always been a drifter of sorts and shunned from society Mortalis always wondered where his place was held in the domain of the human race.His answer was given one evening at the stroke of eleven as Mortalis witnessed with his own eyes the spirits of the dead draining the very life force of a stranger in the city park. Chased through a gateway into a world far different than his own Mortalis is renewed both in body and spirit and begins his quest to understand his purpose and seek the discovery of why this alternate world exists beyond his own. One cannot transverse the realm of the beyond however as Mortalis is labled an exister and considered a threat to all inhabitants of their natural world. Will Mortalis find who he truly is and understand his purpose finally or will he fall to the realm of the beyond?
