Alright this one has a bit of a story so strap in: A while back I got an idea for a project inspired by a Familiar Faces video. I designed this character for the project and had Marauder do this pic for the layout of my test run. However the result was just kinda weird and cringey so I scrapped the whole thing...although the character did gain some fans in Marauder's chat. I just found her design to dang obvious and dumb at the time.
Skip ahead to today when I really wanted a picture of a sexy genie girl and I remembered this one and after thinking about it...she's actually kinda perfect! She just needed glasses, so I had Marauder add those and it REALLY brings the design concept together.
SO! Character Concept: See, I had this idea that some genies are "Desire Genies" and their shape and form are determined by the desires of their first master. THIS? This is what happens when a desire genie's first master is a total nerd: porn star proportioned sexy nerd Princess Peach genie.
...named Princess because of course she is.
I mean it's such FLAGRANT and STUPID wish fulfillment...but isn't that what genies DO?! So...we're rolling with it!
The idea actually gets MORE fun when you remember that she's spent the past thousand plus years as a cloud of formless magical energy. She EXPECTED to be a sexy love slave of some kind, she did NOT expect to have proportions THIS absurd and to have her head filled with dumb minutia about technology that she couldn't even CONCEIVE of only a few minutes ago! On top of being...smart? Because her master wanted a lab assistant?! Yeah...none of this was what she expected...and now she's stuck this way for all eternity?!
Eh. She'll get used to it.
Oh and yeah it wasn't until the second pic of her that I realized she's TECHNICALLY a Game Genie. It's a joke so dumb I love it.
