Barak is from the Kanto region and was just a normal pikachu and wanted to travel around the world and decided to head to the alola region as it was a good resort to hang out and make new friends. Caught a flight there and explored some of the wild areas to see new pokemon when a wormhole opened up before him and sucked him in and found himself on an alien world that always has storms and lightning everywhere and Barak has the lightning rod ability and was able to absorb most of the lightning strikes in the area and since its alien to him he slowly changed his fur and colors changed to a bright white color with blue cheeks. With this new power he became super fast and his lightning strikes hit harder then they did before but the Ultra Beasts Xurkitree are angered at Barak for stealing their lightning and started to attack him but with his now super speed he was able to dodge all of their attacks and used some of his attacks to knock them out then spots a worm hole portal and leaps into it and it sends him back to alola but hes in the air way above the island and goes crashing down but uses the last of his power to slow his descent and passes out. Irene finds him passed out near the beach and takes him to her home and cares for him.
