Ahh, naturally, good ol' Ivy.....
Nah, I'm kidding. I had to look him up. I didn't see the fairy tails, but I saw lots of images. It seems he likes to separate every color definitively. Whatever it is, it's a neat look. More importantly, he draws a decent horse butt!
Anyway, I actually really liked the color morphing on this dragon's body. Some very interesting lighting. And the colors all co-exist. I have no grasp of colors, so it's probably extra-voodoo for me to see art that uses it well.
Not to mention, the proportions are nice, the head is captivating, the forepaws are wonderfully posed, and you successfully got a dragon to tail-sit without looking like they are breaking their spine (I'm told in HTTYD, they actually had to break the rig to get Toothless to do this)
