It’s six in the morning right now as I begin writing this, but since I’m one of those people who doesn’t consider it tomorrow until they go to bed and wake up, (and because the Internet went out in my house before midnight so I actually couldn’t have posted it before midnight) as far as I care, it’s still July 31st, the birthday of a certain fictional British wizard, and since it was watching those movies for the first time back in January of last year that prompted me to draw my OC Molly for the first time- http://www.furaffinity.net/view/23597062/
(Christ on a bike! Kill it with fire! I actually considered that good enough to be posted as recently as that!? Jeeze. That’s the difference a year and a half can make folks, if you ever feel self conscious about your drawing ability, remember that. Don’t use it as an excuse not to take criticism or not to actively make an attempt to improve or anything, but remember that. Being critical of yourself doesn’t have to mean the same as hating yourself. Let it be known, that is the only advice I feel in any amount qualified to give.)
-the character’s birthday seemed like something she would definitely want to celebrate, which really exhibits quite a bit of geekiness on her part, because it’s not even like Harry Potter is a real person in her universe, even to her he’s a fictional character, but a fictional character who’s stories she wouldn’t exist without nonetheless, so that’s something you can imagine she would appreciate. In a way, it’s kind of her own birthday too, or maybe an anniversary of conception at least. But that’s not a can of worms I want to open though, it’s a touchy enough subject in real people whether life begins at conception or sometime later, I don’t even want to imagine what the debate would be like for fictional characters.
And just while we’re on the subject of birthdays, to quote my favorite YouTuber that isn’t James Rolfe; if it’s your birthday today while [reading] this [post], then happy freaking birthday to you, and please remember to stay beautiful
