Answering my sixteenth question! Thank you  StillUndecided for asking!
From the question, and previous uploads, it may seem that Aaron and Maya are the ones to have known each other for a long time; but nope, Jen has known Aaron her whole life and are childhood friends.
Actually, the general time frame that I pull the trio from when drawing or asking is only a little after all 3 of them have come together. (A little more info:) Jen is about ~2 seasons younger than Aaron and became friends because their mothers know each other.

But back to a point, it may not seem like Jen and Aaron are as close as him and Maya, but the relationship they have is something a little special. Mainly, she is willing to put up with him and his antics. Aaron won't always make the right decisions, will sometimes get himself into tough (stupid) situations, or may very well cause the end of the world; but at the end of the day, Jen will be there to pull him back, slap some sense into him, and help him out of all the problems he gets himself into. Even if she doesn't always show it outwardly, she cares.
