Ok, so after this, this is my last character I am entering in for PSR! I am NOT allowed to enter any more in unless it is a NPC or something.
Steward comes from a clan of sea loving Wailmers but due to his affinity of fliers, and him falling in love with one, he was kicked out of his tribe as an outcast. He fell in love with a staravia two years ago, and they have been living together ever since. In the same manner, her tribe gave up on her for her mating choice also.
Of course trying to make it on their own, along with going to school they also worked night jobs to keep the bills paid. They had a small place with only the basics but they were happy since they had each other.
It was their two year anniversary. The staravia had off, but Steward's boss wouldn't let him off. He didn't care, he needed the extra money so he could pay off the fee for his aniversary surprise to her: a summer at the PSR space camp. You see, the staravia had a dream of becoming an astronaut one day, and nothing more would please his heart than to see his love's dream come true. In fact, as an extra bonus, the piece of paper was going to be given to her rolled up, inside of a ring that his grandmother give him when he was just hatched.
Oh boy! A proposal and dreams coming true all in one night!
Since the staravia had the night off, she wanted to cook something special for her unknown husband to be, but just had a couple of ingredients she needed to get... the storm is just a couple of miles down the road, it should take no time to fly it...
What she didn't know... was that a severe thunderstorm was heading her way...
Steward comes home late to see a half cooked meal and a beautifully decorated dinner table. He sat down and waited for his love to come back from wherever she was.
"Man, that storm is really whipping up the trees outside...", he thought to himself as he sat there in silence as the chill went down his back.
He ran outside, running searching, with the rain pouring into his face... He made it to the local market, and the cashier said that they remembered seeing her come in and leave. They tried to warn her that the storm was getting bad, but all she could talk about was this marvelous dinner she was finishing for her "favorite little man"...
Time passed...
The house was so cold. So quiet.
The local authorities have come and went, giving him the location of where she crashed. The funeral was a small one. She didn't have much family that she was close to by this point.
He sat there, staring at the bed they once share so many tender moments, rolling the ring around in his enormous fingers. The tear stained application, crunched up in his had made a crumpling noise every so often when a slight breeze from the open window on the apposing wall.
He stopped dead still. Squeezed the ring until it almost pierced the thick hide of his skin. He opened up the application, grabbed the box that arrived in the mail a week ago with the uniform for her, and started walking.
He didn't care how long it took. He didn't care that he was too old for the camp. He didn't care who would think he was crazy for doing this. All he cared about was honoring the memory of his one true love, by attending the camp and acing all of the programs there.
He had a plan, to take her ashes and have her fly, one last time...
