Seems Virgil and Tori might have found out a little too much on a joint investigation together. And what does a corrupt sci fi government do with snoops that poke their snouts where they don't belong?
... well really it varies culture to culture. Some have these metal masks permanently stuck to their faces that prevent them from talking, others convert them into bio processors, one even leaves you marooned on a jungle planet devoid of any technology. But I digress.
This one just sees it fit to commit you to an institute for the criminally insane. At least the straitjackets are nice and soft. And at least neither of them will be alone. Did someone say cell sleepover? :D
