I started this back in December of 2014 o-o I've gotten way to lazy with my art and need to get back into the habit of drawing regularly and actually finishing pieces. This did start out a bit more ~ehm~ maturely themed, but over time I edited in a blanket and.. such, to make it more classy. I'm happy with how it's turned out, though I think I could have made it darker still. Originally I wanted the lantern completely out and the moon to be dimmer, similar to classical 18th century art with a more imposing and looming look from Satan.. but instead I went with the lantern just blowing out and a lighter moon so to see more of the details.
Song and film that inspired this - "In all my Dreams I drown", from the musical film 'The Devil's Carnival'.

I've no idea why this scene got cut and was only ever shown in the ending credits, it's my favorite song and could have really added to the movie as a whole. If you've not seen it, I would recommend it whole heatedly. I'm such a fangirl for Terrance Zdunich and his creations though, he's managed to make classical looking Satan and Clowns sexually alluring to me.. >///>

I mean, I’m not the nudity police or anything, I just stumbled upon it on the upload stream in the front page, and usually it’s because someone goofed. Ultimately it’s up to an admin, but looks like the upload policy is still pretty strict. Alas.
