Weasels are some of the most common bad guys in the books, and like hedgehogs I don't have much of an opinion on them. They're weasels. They're there. Like every other species, it would be nice to see more variety with them, but what else is new? Weasels are surprisingly tiny in real life, and depending on how you interpret the sizes of various Redwall critters they have the potential to be hilarious. One major weasel villain was notable for having bright blue eyes. Thanks for nothing, Ferahgo the Assassin, for setting the precedent for sparkle animals in Mossflower.
