We wouldn't have Redwall without mice, of course! From Martin to Matthias to Mattimeo to Martin again, no other species really embodies that same empowering idea of 'small but fierce'. You don't need to be big to be brave and you're certainly never too little to stand up for what's right. When they're not sword-swinging heroes mice are typically wise leaders and teachers and that's just as important. Like, I'm okay with them falling into these same two archetypes because the world would be a better place if people were more like Redwall mice.
