A second in a series of themed golems, animal creatures with stone bodies adorned in elemental pieces. This one themed for a tropical sea, it took hours to source all the pieces I wanted (why is fake seaweed that looks like actual seaweed so hard to find??? I paid a lot for the purple) and in the end this costume left me wishing to go tidepooling :)
The head is built on a Fossil Fueled FX universal toony blank this was originally to be a seal but then I reaaaaaaallly wanted to put just floppy bouncy ears on it... so I did, and now it is a pun on "salty sea dog"
Features a moving jaw with a coral tongue and DVC fangs, the pupils can be moved or switched out as they are on magnets, a one size fits average adjustable head, if you have a head larger than 23.5 inches it will be snug on your face, fits small frame glasses, can have a fan added at an extra cost.
The hands are a purchased high quality pair of wool blend gloves that I found in a miraculous match to the sandy face, the insides came nicely lined so as not to be itchy. As I need to focus the bulk of my time on clients the hands are included at-cost (no profit) as a means of having a wear-it-now costume completed more quickly at a lower cost to the buyer, if you don't like the human looking hands you can have paws or flippers made at an additional cost and wait time. *flippers would have limited dexterity
All the adornments are artificial, from the coralline algae spots to the little crabs, no real shells or anything was used so as to be vegan friendly and not cause any customs with issues for an international buyer. All pieces are well secured, even the whiskers will hold up to a fair amount of abuse.

I absolutely love your work. I've been following you literally since I was twelve and every quad suit and cosplay has been an inspiration to me. I'm so glad to see you constantly branching out and trying new things c:
This suit is honestly just another really awesome example of what you can do.
