Did you tell the maker about any issues you had?
Yes, the first parcel which contained the head and partial suit was very badly damaged and partially opened this was an issue with the delivery company though. Also some pins were left in the feet which I was able to remove before they caused any harm, they were extremely apologetic about this.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
This head is fantastically comfortable to wear. I'm extremely happy with how the head looks and the ease of putting it on and taking it off. It has an adjustable strap at the back which would allow me to wear it with glasses however due to personal choice I often remove my glasses when wearing my fursuit. Due to the large size of the head I often have to move my whole body to see things rather than just turn my head but it allows for a good range of movement and is often complimented on its expression.

The fursuit is lined with a black Lycra like material which helps with cleaning and also provides a soft base while wearing. The main airflow comes from the eyes which are made from a mesh like material and the mouth this provides a decent airflow but once again due to the size of the head it can become stuffy but I'd expect that from any suit of a similar size.

As with most suits my peripheral vision is impaired but the forward facing vision is fantastic and I am able to see what is in front of me quite clearly which has always been a bit help while suiting.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The head is fantastic, from the fleece nose to the 3-D eyes I'm very impressed with the look and quality of the head. While it might be quite heavy due to it being carved entirely from foam, the overall appearance is worth it.

The head has a static expression but the 3-D eyes are very effective and look great close up or from a distance. The fur has been well shaved and there are no bald patches or choppy areas anywhere on the head.

Sparklepup matched the design and character of my fursona perfectly, the markings all match up and the eye colour is the same as on the reference sheet provided. I'm extremely happy with the outcome.

BODY

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The body is made up of a foam 'body-pod- rather than the traditional cushion technique which means I am unable to remove the padding so movement can be a little difficult however due to the shape of my fursuit I entirely expected this and feel Sparklepup made the suit as free to move in as possible.

The suit is not lined but has been very easy to clean and made with high quality fur which looks lovely and is soft to the touch even after a few consecutive hours of suiting. The seams have all proven to be durable and allow for a wide range of movement and posing. It fits comfortably while also allowing room for cooling packs. The fur is very well cut and while some seams are somewhat noticeably this does not impact the overall impression of the suit.

Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
I love my suit. The fur has a soft, clean design and Sparklepup managed to build a fantastic silhouette into the entire suit. I'm able to change the suit from a full digi-grade suit into a partial and it looks fantastic in both forms.

Sparklepup matched the markings perfectly and it looks super cute and fluffy.

HANDS AND FEET

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
The hands and feet are both nice to wear. The feet are outdoor feet built on foam with rubber soles which have come clean after prolonged use and use on a variety of terrains including wood chip, mud and concrete. They are also lined and easy to clean. There were a number of pins left in the foam which I had to remove they didn't cause me any harm but it was worrying that they could have done some damage. Sparklepup apologised for this and I wouldn't expect this to be a common thing with her suits and rather a one off. As I caught them before they did any harm I wasn't too fussed.

The hands are very puffy and soft, they aren't lined but very comfortable to wear and very well put together. They are four fingered but fit comfortably and don't slip off while I am wearing them. Due to their size I'm unable to pick things up easily but that is due to the type of puffy paws I wanted.

Both the hands and feet are fantastic looking and suit the character very well. They are super soft and I love to wear them.

TAILS

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
The tail is attached to the body suit and I am not required to wear a belt in order to use it. It moves freely and has proven very durable. It's made of the same fur as the body suit so is soft and easy to maintain like the rest of the suit.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
I think it looks a little small compared to the rest of the body suit but I've had many compliments on the tail and it matches the reference sheet perfectly. It wags very nicely and is bouncy when I'm running.

How well does everything fit together and match up?
I'm hugely satisfied with this suit, it's better than I expected and looks beautiful when all put together. The suit beat all my expectations and I'm delighted to own such a wonderful suit.




How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
I contacted them after finding their Facebook page and seeing they were open for slots. I initially was interested in a slot for my partner but after seeing their work was very keen to purchase a suit for myself. They sent me a guide for the entire process which included what they needed from me and what to expect from the process.


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
They were always very quick to get back, we communicated primarily by email but I was also able to contact them over twitter for updates.


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
Sparklepup was fantastic every step of the way, they were always clear with time lines and WIPs, we became very friendly over the course of the project but they were always professional when it came to my suit.


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
The suit was finished around about the time I expected, I didn't have a hard deadline apart from my place in a queue. They used a signed courier service (which sadly didn't meet expectations) but ensure when my suit was complete it arrived quickly.

I'm very happy with the suit and how Sparklepup was throughout


Describe your overall experience with this maker.
I would definitely commission them again. They were a delight throughout the process and apart from the issue with the pins there was nothing wrong with my suit at all. They had a great work ethic and were fantastic with keeping me updated and responding to my queries.

I believe Sparklepup is one of the best makers and can't wait to see their future work, I would highly recommend them to anybody who wants a pleasant, stress free fursuit commission experience and get a fantastic suit out of it at the end.
