No, it's got nothing to do with Pokémon. It's a poison berry that is native to the southern US, and which also grows in my back yard. You pick the berries and ferment them, which will make the ink permanent. There are some old documents that were written in it, and it was used from the colonial period up until the Civil War. It should eventually turn a brown color, even though it's purple right now.
Remember that ink you had to get in Fallout 3? This is it!
For traditional artists that like to use an old school fountain or quill pen, I will be selling some as soon as I can find some appropriate containers, which will determine the price of it. I also have a TON of seeds if you wanna grow your own, IM or note me if anyone's interested. It's interesting historically, at least for me, and was pretty fun to make. I can post instructions if anyone's curious.

I almost feel bad for mentioning this, but I burst out laughing as soon as this loaded (but I clapped my hand over my mouth if that's worth anything). I think it's the color and the flourishing text. But it really is neat!
I have a fountain pen or two somewhere. I will probably buy some off you if I can afford it.
