the only time's i've flown was back in those days, and airports were fun places like something out of the future.
and you didn't even have to get on a plane to eat at the resteraunt and watch the planes land and take off.

the first time, when i was little, i ever went to an airport, all the planes had props and there were no commercial jets.
there were a couple of what were called turbo props or electro-props, but the all had propellers of some kind.

by the time i first actually flew on one of course, in the late 60s, all the major intercity flights were true jets,
but the old props were still around in cargo service and for short hops. no wide body super fat ass planes yet either.
