Both a contest entry with the theme Entities of Darkness and an Oblivion adoptable I got from ~nimblebun on dA

Scanner kinda messed with this in weird ways, made it far too light, it's a lot darker on the original Dx I liked how it came out irl o.e This was different to try, I did many new techniques like the curly fur, shiny metals in jewelry, salt in the bg to get a rock-like texture, along with watercolors for the blood and other various things in the pic. Took a long time to get it done too, I've been working on this any time I could get past few days x3

K, on to about the picture. Anubis is the guardian of the dead, but have you ever wondered why Anubis needed to guard and escort the dead to the afterlife? This right here is the reason. He lurks in the shadows preying on the lost souls, even stealing them from Anubis' protection. He has powers like that of a god, and are nearly unmatched, he can easily counter Anubis' attacks and magic with those of his own, being Anubis' evil brother that constantly tries to thwart him of his power. He has little mercy for others, often killing and feeding off of the souls without a second thought, or forces them to sell their soul to him and succumb to his will. This is part of his lair, he has the Oblivion symbol under all Oblivion's =NimbleBun drew, drawn on the wall in the blood of his victims. There's also sarcophagus' matching him lined up against the stairs as it gets deeper into his part of the underworld, I only drew one because that one was already time consuming Dx
And I think I just found a name for him with ~Sinsoftheforgotten's help, Akhemset Phokurai, or Akhem for short. I found an Egyptian translator thing (kinda) where I found several words and mixed them up, some being enter, evil, black, to not know (of him/his ability) and Phokurai was kinda a mix of Pharaoh and it was kinda similar to Remy's name Phokurae. So yes, he is very dark and evil and is the perfect candidate for this contest :meow: Hope it looks dark enough, I tried to make it look kinda dirty, old, cracked up and evil-lair-y looking >.>' lol

That's my battai, Nocturne above Akhem x3 He doesn't have a purpose in the pic really, but I wanted to draw him there xD
