I’ve been wanting to do a painting of Rodan for some time, so I’ve finally sated that craving. My other paintings - while not necessarily meant to evoke negative feelings - have been kinda dark, mostly to compliment the monsters (not to mention help their figure stand out from the backdrop), so here I thought I’d make the backdrop feel a little less gloomy with an afternoon-ish feel.
