The only drawing of Guard, which is one more than Gemini or Illusi. This is the best drawing I ever did, I swear, and it's still crap. But as far as crap goes...etc... I never liked how I did the scythe, though.

Guard may appear to be a one-shot character in the fanfic, but he'll be back...hehehe...

Guard had to fight tooth and nail to be considered one of my fanchars. (kinda) He started life as a simple boss in the game, not Sonic style at all, but soon became an official part of the story when I started imitating Sonic Adventure 2 in the creation of the final version of the game. No non-story bosses were allowed in the stages, but Guard had become synonymous with Death Row by then, so I redesigned his character into a Sonic style gargoyle! I never changed his name, though. It just didn't feel right calling him anything else, and I thought "Guard" had a kinda nice ring to it. The true level of his impact on the story is revealed in chapter 33 (by my math...)!
